Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has announced fuel pump prices for the period 15/04/2015 to 14/04/2015

The price of Super Petrol has dropped but diesel and kerosene will cost slightly more following the April 2016 review of petroleum pump prices by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

Taking account of the weighted average cost of imported refined petroleum products, changes in the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices are as follows: Super Petrol reduces by KShs 4.87 per litre, Diesel increases by KShs 0.53 per litre while Kerosene increases by KShs 1.81 per litre.

The average landed cost of imported Super Petrol decreased 11.90% from US$ 473.84 per ton in February 2016 to US$ 417.46 per ton in March 2016.

However, the average landed cost of imported Diesel during the period increased by 3.74% from US$ 311.11 per ton to US$ 322.76 per ton. In addition, the average landed cost of imported Kerosene increased by 7.47% from US$ 352.92 per ton to US$ 379.28 per ton.

In Kisumu Super petrol will retail at Ksh 82.71 per litre,diesel at Ksh 68.40 and Kerosine at Ksh 45.86 per litre.In Siaya Super petrol will retail at Ksh 83.06,diesel at Ksh 68.75 and Kerosine at Ksh 46.21 per litre.In Homabay,super petrol will retail at Ksh 84.38,diesel at Ksh 70.07 and Kerosine will be Ksh 47.53 per litre.In Migori super petrol will retail at Ksh 84.62 per litre,diesel at Ksh 70.31 and Kerosine Ksh 47.77 per litre.
